Lo-Rig is a five-year research project documenting and analysing biactantial verbal agreement in the endangered Gongduk and Monkha languages in Bhutan.

Based at Trinity College Dublin and funded by the European Research Council under the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, the project combines linguistic fieldwork, corpus-based analysis, and technological approaches to language documentation.

The project focuses on the collection and analysis of natural and elicited speech data, the development of descriptive grammars, and the training of Bhutanese researchers, contributing to the long-term sustainability of Bhutan’s linguistic heritage.
